There were also a couple posts mentioning that Dragon Center could interfere with Throttlestop settings, but they didn't go into specifics. I googled for a reason, and most had to do with specific laptops being locked down by manufacturer, which should not have been the case with the GS65. I got temps down with undervolt/reduction in boost frequencies, but was encountering a problem where the maximum PKG Power would top out at 35.9 Watts. I'd read about Throttlestop, and had been working on my settings over the course of a couple days.
Obviously, thermals and throttling were pretty out of control stock when running benchmarks.
I am recently the proud owner of a GS65 with 8750h and RTX 2060.
